It is an honour to welcome you to the International Investment Funds Association’s Annual Conference 2011 in Stockholm – Sweden’s beautiful capital. The conference starts with an evening welcome reception on 18 September. The main conference will be held 19 - 21 September.
Sweden has a population of 9 million, almost all of whom save in investment funds, so there could scarcely be a better setting in which to hold the International Investment Funds Association’s 25th anniversary celebrations! This is a fantastic opportunity for investment fund associations around the world to meet, to swap experiences and to discuss the latest issues affecting the investment fund sector. Political and regulatory challenges for the investment fund industry and corporate governance/SRI are some of the topics for the agenda, as well as demographics and pensions.
Dinners will be held in the City Hall and the Vasa Museum.
